Dr Ros Peters
Gender: Female
Primary qualifications: BSc Hons Biochemistry MBChB (Edinburgh 2002), FRCP, MRCGP, DFSRH, Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology (Distinction)
Days of work: Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday and Friday
I moved from the West coast to study in Edinburgh. Before becoming a GP in 2007 I spent an extended time working in adult medicine and intensive care. I enjoy all aspects of general practice, with additional training in women’s health, skin problems and joint injections. I am also responsible for the training of Year 1 and Year 4 Edinburgh medical students who attend Penicuik.
Outside of work I love to spend time with family and be outdoors, whether it is dog walking or horse riding.
