Gender: Female
Primary qualifications: BSc Adult Nursing (Edinburgh 2004), Graduate Certificate in Sexual and reproductive Health.

Before joining the team in Penicuik in 2015, I spent the first part of my nursing career working in general surgery, transplant, and cardiology. I then spent some time as part of the District Nursing team in Edinburgh. Since coming to Penicuik Medical Practice, I have extended my role as nurse practitioner. As an independent prescriber I can see and treat various health conditions such as diabetes and asthma. I also have a special interest in women’s health, and I enjoy supporting them in making decisions about contraception and HRT.
Overall, I enjoy all aspects of nursing care and helping people to achieve a better quality of life.
